ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Eligible series must have a minimum total of three (3) episodes released between the dates of January 1, 2019 -April 30, 2021. Series must either be created by or in conjunction with a person of color. Series which are not created by a person of color but have talent (actors / hosts) or crew that are people of color may be submitted in their appropriate categories. For ensemble cast (including casts of reality programs), series that have a predominate cast of people of color that also have performers that are not, those performers will also be included in the ensemble nomination.
Awards will be handed out in the following categories:
• BEST SERIES - DRAMA
• BEST SERIES - COMEDY
• BEST WRITING
• BEST EDITING
• BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY
• BEST HAIR / MAKE UP
• BEST LEAD ACTOR
• BEST LEAD ACTRESS
• BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR
• BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS
• BEST ENSEMBLE CAST
• BEST NEWS/ENTERTAINMENT SERIES (LIVE / RECORDED)
• BEST NEWS/ENTERTAINMENT SERIES (LIVE / RECORDED) – HOST
• BEST REALITY SERIES
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
SERIES: Best Series, Reality and News/Entertainment, a full episode for each submission is required.
CRAFT: Directing, Editing, Writing and Cinematography, a full episode for each submission is required. For (Hair / Makeup), you may submit a compilation clip of scenes from an entire season that best represent your work.

Submission Fees:
Nominees: All nominees (excluding Directing, Writing, Editing, Cinematography and Hair / Makeup) will be required to submit a 20 second clip that will be played at the ceremony during their category presentation. Nominees for Ensemble Cast will be required to submit a series logo / title that will be displayed during the category presentation.
Each nominee will receive a Certificate of Nomination immediately following the ceremony. Nominees that will not be in attendance, can either provide a mailing address or designate someone from their series to collect their certificate and/or award.
Winners: All winners will receive a prop award on stage to deliver their acceptance speeches. *Please limit your speeches to 45 seconds*.
Upon exiting the stage, winners will give the prop award back to the trophy presenter and given a check out ticket. From there, winners will proceed back to their seat in the theater until the ceremony is complete. After the ceremony, each winner will bring their check out ticket(s) to the designated check-out table where they will sign for their official engraved award and then escorted to an area to be photographed with their award to commemorate their win.
